10 tips for your keto holidays

It’s possible to enjoy holidays and stay on track with the keto diet, without the comfort of your home.  Here are some healthy suggestions and tips that shall do the trick for your next vacation trip.

  1. Pack your bag with fatty proteins: dried sausages, canned cod or sardines, and duck or pork rillettes.
  2. Opt for solids fats: raw cacao butter does not melt easily when it’s warm outside.
  3. Fat powders are useful if you are travelling to very warm countries. You can use butter or MCT powder for example in your drinks for an energy boost.
  4. Salty macadamia nuts: store macadamia nuts in a jar with Himalayan salt and that’s it, you’ve got a perfect snack for maintaining your daily sodium intake.
  5. Use fats both ways: for example, you can eat cacao butter bars or even use them to hydrate your skin after a long hiking day!
