Are you missing your favorite chocolate spread? Find out how to use pecan nuts, one of the top five keto friendly nuts, to make a small jar of your own homemade keto chocolate spread.
You will need only 4 ingredients:
- 150g of pecan nuts
- 30g of sugar-free cocoa powder
- 30g of powdered erythritol
- 1 Tbsp of walnut oil or MCT oil
Preparation steps:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C. Roast the pecan nuts for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Blend the roasted nuts, powdered erythritol, cocoa powder and the oil. At first, the mixture will still have a powdery texture. After about 2 minutes, the oil in the pecan nuts will be released and you’ll get something like butter’s texture.
- Enjoy your spread with a slice of keto bread or use it to prepare other keto snacks or desserts.
