How to make a keto chocolate spread?

Are you missing your favorite chocolate spread?  Find out how to use pecan nuts, one of the top five keto friendly nuts, to make a small jar of your own homemade keto chocolate spread.

You will need only 4 ingredients:

  • 150g of pecan nuts
  • 30g of sugar-free cocoa powder
  • 30g of powdered erythritol
  • 1 Tbsp of walnut oil or MCT oil

Preparation steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C.  Roast the pecan nuts for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Blend the roasted nuts, powdered erythritol, cocoa powder and the oil. At first, the mixture will still have a powdery texture.    After about 2 minutes, the oil in the pecan nuts will be released and you’ll get something like butter’s texture.
  • Enjoy your spread with a slice of keto bread or use it to prepare other keto snacks or desserts.
