Some Healthy Dessert Recipes For Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner, and you’re still struggling for a healthy meal plan?  When it comes to desserts, it’s hard to find a way to make them healthy. However, it is good to know that you do not have to deprive yourself to be healthy. At the end of the Christmas meal, don’t hesitate to enjoy some sweet treats without worrying about weight gain. There are many recipes for light and healthy desserts.

Homemade orange puree

This is an easy-to-make dessert rich in vitamins. As ingredients, you will need lean butter, pressed oranges and corn flour. Melt the butter in a saucepan and then add the cornflour. Mix with a wooden spatula and gradually add the fruit juice. Stop the cooking when the mixture thickens. Leave it to cool about an hour in the refrigerator. The orange puree can be served with sponge cake.

Peach and red fruit salad

If your Christmas diet plan involves healthy eating, then this peach and red fruits salad may be just what you are looking for. Use some fresh and ripe fruits (if possible organic) avoiding fruits in tinned can. Add strawberries, peaches, balsamic vinegar and freshly ground pepper to your shopping list. With these ingredients, make a nice and healthy peach and berry salad. It is a perfect fruit salad to garnish pancakes and waffles. Boil a medium saucepan of water and add peaches. After draining, peel the fruits and cut them into slices. Make a mixture of peaches, blackberries, strawberries, honey, and cardamom.

Fluffy cake with fruits and fibres

The soft cake with fruits and fibres is a dietary recipe, ideal for those who pay attention to their diet during the holiday season. Ingredients: flour, cereals, milk, egg, yeast, sugar, dried fruits such as dates, dried figs, and raisins. Add to your list, a few grams of orange peel and candied lemon and orange blossom water. Just mix the ingredients and you’re done!
